Is this the right place
Is this the right place
Infernal Hails, mates. I'm new here (obviously). Found this forum via google just after I bought my first car which happens to be a 1991 Z28 (pics below). About me, 17, headbanger (for the most part), and from the South Bay area. Now for the car.

~110k miles, few things that would deter it from perfection. L98 5.7L V8, all stock (until I get some money). Plan on getting it painted either Midnight blue or black. That's about it for now, good day.

VERY NICE CAR! 91-92 z28's are getting hard to find!
You should also check out the California section (you have to register to see it though) of www.ls2.com
Lots of locals hang out in there...
The car looks great, I love third-gens and it's a nice one (good year, color interior, and it's a Z28 so it has the cool hood and spoiler)!
I personally would keep it red. There is A LOT involved in a GOOD color change (I know, I've done it twice).
If you are dead set on it though I would choose something NOT (at least for a third gen) factory (why go through all the hassle for black?)
I would go Electron Blue (see my avatar), Hugger Orange, Sunset Orange Metallic, Bright Green Metallic, something cool...
