Question Las Vegas residents - questions

I will be moving from TX to the Las Vegas area in the next few months and I have a few questions.

Does Nevada require front license plates?

I was out there the other day and I noticed the gas stations had something called a smog test. What is that?

Any details will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Legally, yes, front plates are the law. Have I ever had one, or been asked to put one on? No.
It is one of those "unenforced" laws here, I don't think anyone in my club has a front plate, LOL!

Smog testing is required for any car in Clark County that is less than 20 or 25 years old.

It's an annual adventure for some of us.
