My car isn't really enjoying the heat either. With the fans programmed to turn on at ~170*, my car sounds like a freaking turbo prop plane by the time I get home!
Good thing we have A/C like mother nature intended.

Try driving around with no A/C. Leave work and am in the middle of rush hour traffic sitting there with no A/C at all for about 40 mins when its hot as all hell outside.

my z is not my daily driver anymore. after having a million cooling problems, they seem to be under control. according to my scanner, the temp is from 196-208.
it seems to be getting hotter and hotter every year.

No problem yet (not that I've driven it much).
Never had a problem with our 98 either.
I guess I'm just blessed.

I hear ya!!!! It's hot as hell outside!!!
But I'll take the heat over shoveling snow any day.
I've done just about everything possible to make my car run cooler. And I have to say, a 160 degree thermostat and programming the fans to run almost all the time, are the best bang for the buck. My CSI electric water pump and BeCool radiator help to keep my car running cool, but they won't drop the engine temperature like the fans and thermostat do. I highly recommend those mods to anyone who lives in Phoenix.
Since my 94 Formula is a race toy, I decided to remove the entire AC system from the engine compartment. If anyone wants a used AC system, then make me an offer.

My programmer and 160 thermostat keeps it right about there, only climbs to 180 if I'm stuck in a line somewhere. Also we work nights and that helps out A LOT!!!

When I had my '94 I also thought my air sucked bigtime! I have a '97 now and it's greatly improved (size of vents)--no longer a problem.

Luckily I don't drive to work anymore, just roll out of bed and into my den.
I had the Camaro out the other day and did a few speed run and it was pinging like hell top end. I set the MAFT for a liitle less lean and now she's better.
Summer is fun, pool and lake enjoyment time!!
