FirehawkFest 2004
FirehawkFest 2004
Hi there, I am happy to announce that FirehawkFest 2004 will be held in
San Diego on Sept 26, 2004 at the very scenic Embarcedero Park behind
The San Diego Convention Center and by the new Petco Park.
It will be held in conjunction with the Camaro Club of San Diego's Fall
Classic. We will have our own parking area and own judges, as well we
will be able to compete with the general car show (So possibility of two
car show awards!). I am drumming up sponsors and will announce them
after August 1st.
I will be trying to setup hotel rooms, dinner and a BBQ the day before, and possibly a dyno day if enough interest is relayed to me.
If anyone has any other suggestions, please do not hesitate to let me
know. I want this to be a great FirehawkFest.
Some of you may get duplicate emails, please let me know if I have your
correct email address and if I duplicated any.
Please send all FirehawkFest questions and suggestions to
firehawkfest@***.net.
Also, please let me know if you are going to be able to come to the show
or not, we need a car count ASAP so we can sort out the parking.
SLP's David Hamburger will be in attendance and will also be handing out some goodies at the show.
UPDATE:
Dyno Day has moved to the JBA Hot Rod facility. 5155 Convoy. It's by the 52 and Convoy. Price has dropped to $45 for 2 pulls. It all starts at 8:00 as they want to provide more than enough time for all of us.
No need to register for the dyno day, but please try and let me know at robshawk@***.net.
