Back by popular demand! or something....

Hey everyone I've got the date figured out, kind of a late notice though....

The next date will be Auguest 21st (That's a Saturday)

Now, here's the kick, I'm thinking this time we'll go up to Estes park again, How ever instead of taking a left, we'll take the scenic route, up the back way (about another 10-20 minute drive) And we'll all eat lunch at the Estes Park Brewery, OR if people wanna do something like a Cook out, and bring up some grills, burgers n dogs, we can do that, but I need everyone's Feed back for what to do for lunch.... So I can get reservations...

We are Meeting @ The Target parking lot at the Factory out let mall's in Loveland @ 10:00am and leaving @ 11:00am

This time, after lunch, I want to go up to the divide, and get some as someone called "bragging rights pictures" for the high paved roads in the US.

I believe it is like 10 or 15 dollars to get in. I'm also gonna call the Parks and open land or Forest Service see if we can get some kind of discount for the cars that will be going up.

I've gotten a lot of PM's and E-mail's asking when the next date will be. So here it is people, last time we had 25 cars show up, Lets hit 35 this time. OR EVEN MORE!

IF YOU ARE 99.9% SURE YOU ARE GOING TO ATTEND (the 0.01% stands for you died, someone you know died, you got ill, those sorts of things) PLEASE PLEASE E-mail me, to let me know that you are attending That way, I can make appropriate reservations @ the restaurant or can ask so many people to bring what ever we need for the cook out.

Also for those of you who ran out of room on your digital camera, I will be taking my laptop up on this cruise, so when we get to a stopping point, I can download all of the pictures on to my computer and we can continue taking more!

I never really check this part of the forum...Didnt know there were a bunch of cz28 members this close to Fort Collins....
If my car were running better I'd definetly be up for this! I have some issues that probobly wont be fixed by the 21st
Other than this, how often do you all get together and hang out..and where? (for those of you who are regulars up here in northern CO).
This sounds awsome and I wish I could get my buddy from Castle Rock up here too..when is the next one (approximately) scheduled (after the 21st one)? I work all Saturdays, but with enough of an advanced notice I could get the weekend off! Ive done this before when I had my Street Bike and its a blast cruising Estest together..I think the Fbods would be awsome
Anyways, good luck with this and where will you be posting the pix after the cruise is over and you've gotten them all together? Thanks

It was a HOOT!, well get your car running make, and get people to come to this cruise, I'd like to start getting a large number of cars going on these cruises the more the marrier and then maybe in the future speed the weekend up in Steamboat or something but thats still out a way's. I'll keep everyone posted for this cruise and any up coming ones, We may have 1 more....


BTW, I go out almost every Friday and Saturday night, and hang out @ the Harmony and College McD's in the Matress King's Parking lot

 

ill try to get my car up and running, its a saturday..i work friday 6pm-6am (saturday morning)...the only way id be able to go is if i took saturday off, and my car was working 100%...we'll see. Hoping this week or so I will have it situated...
As for the link, i was really interested in seeing the pic of your last cruise...but it didnt work. i know where that mcds is...maybe i can get my car there this weekend if i fix it..laters, Derek

lol you dont want this kind of shift...it horrible. I work every other wednsday..and every thursday thru saturday 6p-6a. Good thing is I get paid well, OT every other week (4 dayweek is 40+8o.t.) and I get paid for three 1 hour breaks..every night and I live 3 minutes from work...So I go home twice a night, for my first two breaks and watch tv..eat.whatever
Bad news is I never have time to socialize on weekends with friends anymore unless I take days off. LOL
Anyways, yeah Id love to see some pics..Ill see what I can do, how many people so far have contacted you? or you just waiting to see who all shows up? Lates, Derek

well..i definetly wont be going this saturday..I ended up fixing my Catalytic converter...car still has a stumble which Im thinking is my plugs/wires...but eh reason I cant go is I just got laid off yesterday (thursday) from work..they got rid of a crap load of people and I was the last to go..after 13+ months of hard work for them, they let me go
Now I am jobless and owe crap loads of money in two weeks for rent and other stuff. I cant make this one..and probobly one any time soon now...but if you keep posting the cruises..maybe I can catch one soon...or maybe Ill see ya around town on a fri-sat night now..that I dont work weekends yet..We'll see..I may have to sell the Z and my truck just to pay rent for another month or two...anyways, Ill keep ya posted if I can maybe meet ya in town for a cruise one of these next few weekends..hope the cruise goes great and take lots of pics/vids! laters,

Havent heard from ya in a whilie, did you guys end up cruising again on the 23rd? I got my car fixed...turns out my #8 plug as really fouled up from the Cat not being there, the exhaust completely filmed over it. Now its running a lot better! I cruised tonight (friday, 27th) and didnt see too many Fbodies. What type of ride do you have anyways? Color, model, etc? I know its a post 97 since you got an Ls1..but thats all I know. I saw a few out there though. Anyways, hope everythings all good and Ill catch ya lates..oh and by the way, if a job opening is still availiable at Utiliquest, im interested in atleast seeing what it is and what you do..anything is better than 0/hr lol. Im hurting on bills. Anyways, lates
