This crap has happened more than once also. It is a long thread, but pass this around. I am tired of them messing with my friends and their cars.

these people don't deserve to be in business.
why is it that mechanics are so shady? It seems inevitable that at least once in your lifetime, you'll go through some sort of car/mechanic/shop ordeal, as I did unfortunately.
It sucks that just a few shady mechanics can really ruin the reputation of the rest of the hard working mechanics out there. When I go to get a watch repaired, a suit retailored, a shirt dry cleaned, or camera film developed, I don't worry a bit. But when it comes to repairing a car, changing its oil, or fluids, then all paranoia kicks in, and apparently for good reason too.
Something needs to be done.
