AZFBA Cruise to Bagdad 4/17/2010
Anyone who is interested is welcome to join us for a drive.

Details-
Alright it looks like Bagdad is the winner for this month, so get your cars ready!
We will have an eastside meetup spot and a northside meetup spot. Then cruise out and have lunch in Bagdad at the Circle Bar Steakhouse. They will be expecting us this time. Most comments were that treated us very well last year even thought we had a large group and showed up unexpectedly. After a nice lunch break we will head back into town to the 83rd and Beardsley car show to hang out for the evening or maybe even end up at the pavilions later on at night. Thanks and we hope to see you there!
When:Saturday April 17th, 2010
Itinerary:
-9am South & East siders meet up at AZ Mills Malls on south side off of Baseline Rd
-9:30am South & East siders head out to Deer Valley Park to Meet up with North & West siders
-10am West siders meet up at Deer Valley Park
-10:30am Everybody heads out for the cruise
-1:30 to 2:00pm pull into Bagdad for lunch
-3:30pm head out on the rest of the cruise and to the 83rd Ave car show
-6:00pm pull into Car show
Cruise:
-Head north on I-17 to Carefree Hwy.
-Go west on Carefree Hwy past Lake Pleasant area to intersection with US-60.
-Go west/north on US-60 through Wickenburg and then turn right/north on HWY-89.
-Take HWY-89 when road forks stay to right to continue on HWY-89.
-Continue on HWY-89 through Congress and Yarnell until exit at Kirkland Junction to HWY-96.
-Got west on HWY-96 through Kirkland and on to the town of Bagdad.
Lunch in Bagdad:
We will eat at the Circle Bar Steakhouse. They will be expecting us this time.
Most comments were that they treated us very well last year even thought we had a large group and showed up unexpectedly.
Continue Cruise:
-Head out of Bagdad heading south on HWY-96 until intersection with HWY-97.
-Turn right/south onto HWY-97 continuing until intersection with US-93.
-Turn left/southeast onto US-93 towards Wickenburg continuing until intersection with US-60.
-Turn left/east onto US60 and continue heading towards Peoria until Bell Rd exit.
-At Bell Rd turn left heading east to 83rd Ave.
-At 83rd Ave turn left heading north to Safeway cruise in Car show area.
-Cruise in park hang out until we figure out something for dinner.
