Attention So Cal, Los Angeles f bodys

Our 2nd annual Castaic Lake Customer Appreciation Day picnic & car show has been confirmed for April 17th at the Castaic Lake Lagoon (lower lake). It will be held at the same parking lot #4, right in front of the main entrance.

The event is geared for F-Bodies, SLP vehicles and Corvettes, but we welcome all visitors regardless of what you are driving. We are accumulating prizes for the car show and raffle from our vendors who supply us with our mod parts & services. We expect some very nice prizes this year, SLP has already contributed a generous offering.

A lunch with free grilled food & drink is included, thanks to our volunteers. Many people have offered food, supplies & assistance for this event, that is much appreciated. The entry fee at the lake is $7.00. Maps have been attached. Anyone who needs assistance finding the lake or has any questions can E-mail me at roleng@comcast.net A short cruise thru Lake Huges canyon to Pyramid Lake follows.

I will provide updates on vendor prizes and car show classes when they are available. Rather than use this post as a chat spot, let's use it for information, contributions and updates.

Hope to see everyone out there on April 17th, get your cars shined up, as everyone has a chance to win!

This just added. Stealth Performance has donated a set of SLP subframe connectors to be raffled off $5 a ticket. Proceeds to go to charity.

Thats a killer deal if ya win.

I haven't driven my car in 5 or 6 months now, Castaic is pretty close to me though maybe I will just ride a dirtbike over there.

I got a question for you though 1msfyter, do you work for Stealth Performance? I see there is free shipping on certain items, I need the polished Hotchkis STB, can I get free shipping on that?

Numerous reasons, lately its been electrical problems. I think I got it all fixed now though my old alarm went haywire. It sucked my new Optima down to .001 volts on the voltmeter, lol. I trickle charged that baby back to life in a couple days, and spent a few more days removing the alarm and messing around with wires under my dash. Put the battery back in and it started for a second then I shut her down. She started throwing some codes because I have no elbow, MAF or CAI right now, hehe. Well actually I have a MAF somewhere and the new polished GMPP CAI and polished elbow will be ordered soon.

I have gathered a few interested parties around the LA area and will try to set up a place where we can all meet and drive up together. So far, there will be a turnout of about 5-7 cars. If anyone is interested in meeting (probably in Torrance) and going up this Saturday, get in touch with me and we can work out the details. Info is in the profile.
