Hmmmm, what are we building there Kevin?

So did you get the clutch straightened out? If you need a hand let me know. I seem to have a bit more free time all of the sudden.

Hey Kev, if ya get it to work you're gonna hafta show me how to wire those things up. That setup sounds rather enticing to me.

BTW, Did you make it out to the Barn on Sunday? Cause of the rain I showed up right as it was ending and got in free. It KILLED me seeing some of those beautiful hot rods and show cars driving through the MUD to get out of there.

HInk,
Just trying to get the most out of my LT1 don't be a hater!

Roman,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I sent the clutch back to Mcleod
and am currently breaking in the rear with the stocker.
I'll let you know when it comes back

Tom,
looks like I'll be the first on the block. I'll keep everyone posted
on my progress.

Jim,
Bummer about the Barn show. I did check it out attendance
was way down. The wiring aspect really concerns me.....
I don't want it to look like a wiring rat nest when I'm done.

Not quite the first on the block. I know of two of them in SE michigan off the top of my head. I am hoping to follow not too far behind

One is actually Bailey's Impala he sold. Haven't heard how the new owner likes it. Second guy is just finishing up his car, said the response is way better.
Both of them are regular posters on the board, maybe they will chime in.

Lightbulb No BIG secret...

HR Hawk may, has or will do his. I am ALMOST sure he has done it already but not 100% positive.

I don't really 'hate' them, just a disliking envy!
I'll wait until the next new engine design comes out in an F-Body, of the future and make them all feel poopy like they do to us LT1 guyz!

Arrow ((*%^@@%%#$

EXACTLY!

Actually I'm an LT1 loyalist backin to the days of the first generation LT1 in the second generation Camaro. Yeah...
Back then Chevy put Chevrolet engines in Camaros and Pontiac put Pontiac engines in Firebirds (until Pontiac started putting some Olds engines in Firebirds in the late 70's)

I had just munched my DZ302 in my '69 RS Z/28. Went to Berger Chevrolet in Grand Rapids and bought a brand new LT1 shortblock, for like $469.00. Put the 302 heads and intake on and the car was then a monster with 4.88 gears and a four speed.

It was only a 3-4 years ago that I finally got Redbird quicker/faster then the '69 Z and the 350 Monza I used to have.
Now working on getting faster than the fastest vehicle I ever raced. A Suzuki GS1000... 10.26 @ 129.xx. MAYBE in a few years??!!

I grew up in the GOLDEN area of MUSCLE CARS! Someday I'll tell you all what I used to own besides the above!!
