I am in the process of putting a '98 Z28 6-speed back to stock. The car is black and had a ARE motor and incon twin turbos. I bought the car for the motor and turbos and will be putting in my '01 LS1 motor. So the package will be as follows.

'98 Black 6-speed Hardtop Z28 with 38,000 miles on the car. Interior is in VERY good condition, exterior has a lot of small scratches. A good rub-out in needed.
'01 LS1 motor with 40,000 miles. VERY strong motor, typical LS1 oil consumption.

The car will be stock with the following aftermarket parts:
Ripper Shifter
BMR tubular subframes
Brand new carpet in the interior
The clutch is a stage 2 Star or equivelent
Car will be dyno tuned at Detroit Speedworks

I am sure there is some stuff I am forgetting, but you get the idea. It is a tad more than you said you wanted to spend but a low miles LS1 is worth the extra $$ over an LT1 IMO.

i have a 97 z28 that has 70,500 miles the only i had a dealer check to make sure there wasnt anything wrong with the car, and the only things that ever came up were owner lost his keys and had to have roadside assistance, and frt rotors and brakes that were under warrenty. its metallic green, i have pics 30th anner. seats, auto,ttops cold air induction and 160* stat call me if interested 989-529-4675 asking 9,000 or best, ask for bob
