Talking winter project update

Well after a close encounter of the broken main cap bolt kind (cheap *** torque wrence!! DOH!) The block ended up going to the machine shop. Anyway got the block back and sprung into action and after about a week I have the whole bottom end together. Ill be bolting the oil pan on tonight . So all thats left is the heads (I found a guy to do my 3 way valve job CHEAP, he is an old drag racer at my work who actually has a big *** proffesional valve/head machine) as they are allready ported, put in the cam and just button it all back up. I cannot wait to start this thing up!! Ever since I started this project I have come to appreciate Car Craft magazine, kudos to them for all thier tec stuff. they even covered a whole thing on the first start up ! Too cool, and timely. Anyway Im expecting to have this thing back in the car within two to three weeks and then another week or so doing up the engine compartment, then the front brakes need to have the new calipers put in......then .....then...... platz on the floor and dream of all the speeding tickets Im going to get next spring!!!
