I'm definitely in if there is a bracket. As for heads up, the only way I'd win is if everyone else either red lit or broke.

I'm not very familiar with Canada. How far from the MI/Windsor border is Sparta?

Heck i f i won 20 bucks that would be ice cream money at Shaw's after we leave, lol!!!
It feels a bit early, but i`ll put it out there. I know at least 2 cars that won`t likely be done by then Including our big guy...(he might).

I had no idea when I posed this that a few of our cars would still be under the knife in august

So as for paying out... does that come out of the usual $30 or does it require we put some more in?

basically it would entail putting in say 10 or 15 bucks more. does that make sense, then the remainder gets paid out at the end of the day. pretty simple to understand, i think

Okay... i get it.

To be honest, that's not something i was looking for... I was hoping to make it just a fun day, not an expensive one. I could get the hard core racers in my club out, but i'd lose the casual ones that race once in a while if they had to pay more money and i dont' want to lose them...

There might be enough people to have a 'make it interesting' option... for those that are willing, but i dont' know?

I'm not sure then if you guys lose interest?

Well, unfortunately our big guy(615 blown Merlin) won't have his headers here by that date... and it would really suck since this is the event he's building for, but things haven't gone smoothly

If there's any way to move it to early september i'd be forever in your debt.

Also, could we get a head count for the W/M side?

you could always hold a bracket and charge the people who want to run in the 10 or 15 bucks. and those that don't want to run it can run the normal test n tune, that way you wouldn't be turning some away

September is a bad month, already busy almost every weekend, i can check with Dave to see what he wants to do.

the people that don't want to Bracket can OF COURSE run t'n't. i didn't think an extra 10 or so bucks would turn people away. but i can understand that. sorry i am not about to spend $70 per pass for nothing, i hope you understand. believe me i know how much this stuff costs. at this point i may not even turn on the bottle till september, no need to.

i will let you know what Dave Mathers says.

Re: Windsor/Michigan vs Kitchener/Waterloo???

Thanks for doing the dirty work taner...
I'm pretty sure that no one from my crew is into the money thing... but i've put some feelers out there...

Perhaps we'll just see what Dave says and go from there...

Re: Windsor/Michigan vs Kitchener/Waterloo???

Now that's a good idea!
I think its' the 11th....
We're already going to that day... would be cool to meet some of you.. and we could do a mini bracket thing... usually our club buys lunch for the winner (we're still a young club).

Anyways, i'll throw that angle...and if anyone wants to make things interesting...great!
