Mine is on it's last leg too. Have the new motor, but the ebay bastards didn't send me any bolts....just the motor. So, now I have to find out what size I need.

I replaced my motor from autozone, they have a lifetime warranty and are known to be a quality part.

its not that hard once you look into whaqt has to be replaced, biggest issue is drilling out the pop rivets.

I can do it for you for 2 hours at work at my special performance discound rate of $65/hour. or you could do it yourself. look up shoebox's website, I know there's a great writeup on there and tons of pics for the camaro jeff. last time I looked the pics were not up yet for the TA though. guess the door panels are slightly diff. where the screws are, and the location of where to drill through the door fiberglass looks a bit different. I just paid $35 for one. 2 year warranty from novi auto parts. Im sure other places offer the same thing. call around.

Yeah, I'll probably end up doing this one myself. But, I still have to find out the right bolt/nut sizes to install it. Do you know if the Autozone motor comes with the hardware? If so, maybe I can ask them to pull one down off the shelf so I can get the right size.

just take your motor that you got, and use it as a template at the hardware store. it will be a tiny screw/nut. maybe 1/4" long. all it has to do is go through the holes. both in the regulator and the motor in place of factory rivets. just make sure its not soo long that it gets in teh way of anything behind it.

I've got to do mine again and it comes with the nuts and bolts, so you don't have to worry. Its not to difficult to do, I think taking the door panel off and putting it on is harder than changing the motor. Might want to check the general tech forum, there is a thread about installing relays which can speed up the time it takes to roll down/up the window. I'm going to do that at the same time since I'll be in there

I used the shoebox method and it took me about 45 min total and that included replacing a door handle as well while I was in there.
