A buddy of mine and I both have PCM FOR LESS tunes on our built LT1 cars. Both of our cars run richer than ****. We have both sent out tunes back to get adjusted, and they still run rich. Everything else is good. I am just wondering how the other peoples cars with their tunes run, since my buddies and mine both run very rich.

Yeah, I'm running a PCM FOR LESS tune on my car, (see sig. below), and it runs very rich also. I think Byran just wants to make sure he errs on the rich side? I've also been thinking of asking him for a leaner tune for my car.

 

HMM... more and more people having problems here....? I noticed they are located in Pennsyvania, but I think there elevation is the same as ours??? could be wrong. I have sent mine back for a few changes (other than running rich) and I state that it runs pretty rich, and evertime it get the new PCM back, it still runs rich.

 

Where and when does it run rich? At idle? at WOT? everywhere?

 

My buddies and mine run rich at idle and on part throttle. Clears up when you beat on them.

 

I personally , when I get a tune for other then VATS, ect., I am going to get a dyno tune, not a mail order, I plan on using C.A.R.S. in Waterford for it as well

 

Yeah I had a mail order tune that I thought was pretty good until I put it on a dyno with a wideband. Now I have a much better tune that I know is safe from Sean at C.A.R.S.
