I saw him driving home today near beech and warren road. he rev.d me real quick and I reved him back a min. later, but I knew we were coming up on a popular speed trap (on beech southbound goin under ann arbor trail) I got a speeding ticket there bout 1.5 weeks ago, and almost got another again yesterday. so no way was I goin to go with him. anways he downshifted from about a 35mph roll and act. turned over the tires a little. damn that thing can scoot. Ive heard those motors can handle 1000 HP w/o changing the stock lower end. just wonderin how quick it really is if its someone from here or someone knows him.

What's up Chris!! You're talking about the Mystic Chrome Cobra 04'. Not sure who you saw out that way. But my father's got one that he just picked up three week's ago. One BAD *** car for sure, thing moves fast. Taken it up to 115 mph with a snap of the fingers. With the few things he's done to the car it's got roughly 440 hp. He's going to be taking it out to Woody's this Sunday as far as I know, since it's going to be nice out. You should swing on by and check it out. Later dude!!

Chris, things are good been busy with work. Car's running good and strong. Probably will see you next week Wed. if you're working. Got to get the oil changed before I put her away for winter.

Right now the only mod he's got done is the switch out for the K&N filter. All dyno results for 04' Cobra's with it puts the HP around 440hp and about 390 - 400hp at the rear wheels!!

Looking to do the pulley's next week or the week after and get another 65hp and 45 - 50 hp at the rears.

Then that will be it till next spring when he's going to do a full exauhst set up from headers, cat's, x-pip, and exauhst come spring. Should get him another 30-35 hp, then get it dyno tuned and make some serious HP.

I tell ya that thing moves quick, talk about people always pointing with there mouths wide open... I will say it does work wonder's with the ladies...

 

hey, I saw on your site you want to do headers. I dont recomend the slp headers at all. I put them on another board members car this spring, and they are ALOT more of a pain in the *** then the hookers. the ONLY reason I could see you wanting to use them, is to keep your car all slp. they do clear the chassis pretty good, and bolt up relatively easily, but the prob. is two things, #1 is you ahve to move/relocate/wrap all the harness. that go down the frame, cause the primary tubes go right along the frame on the pass. side. and #2 reason is the ypipes are a real drag. be prepared to make a custom mount to keep the ypipe from bouncing off the frame under the drivers seat. WHIPLASH lives out on the east side not too far from you Im sure, maybe you could pop in over there and look at his headers ypipe. on the other hand, the hookers fall right into place and dont need to relocate any of the harness's, the ypipe clears everything great, all yo uneed is the 02 extenders.

are you goin to install this stuff? if not I can hook ya up in the late winter, early spring. I'll be tied up over the winter w/a project for sure. also, you should check out JL turbo's before you do any mods. I think that kit looks totally sweet. tons of power, no need for headers, or any dissassembly of your very low mi. engine, and it makes tons of power. the company is one of our supporting venders, check it out. and dont forget you know where to find me when your ready to have this stuff installed.
