Who can rebuild a trans?

Anyone out here who can rebuild a trans for me? 4L60E, second rebuild in 3 years, I was going to shop it to a local builder, but I would rather keep the cash on the board.

Thanks, Charlie

Richard Bewick does alot of the HP trans work around this part of town. His prices are not bad. His # is 248 828/7048. Tell him Chris with the Red IROC sent you. It may help as I send him alot of trans work. He did my trans and it will bark the tires going into 3rd.

I can do it. What are you looking to do to it? Just a rebuild or you want a shift kit and stuff like that?

Let me know,
Scott

Thanks for the info Chris, Scott, I am planning on just a rebuild, as I already have a TCI Streetfighter trans. I would be supplying the parts (a complete TCI rebuild kit including bands, clutches, etc). Do you have an idea as far as price is concerned?

Thank You!!!

Charlie, I can do it for $300.00 if you supply the parts and have the trans out of the car .

Jason, the same goes for you. More $$ if you don't supply the parts.

Charle,

It takes about 2 days or so. I do them on Saturday or Sunday. So If I get it during the week its longer. With you having the parts its faster. When is a good time for you? and where are you wanting to meet?

Jason,

Parts are around $200.00. Could be alittle more or alittle less.

Thanks,
Scott

Hmmm, I am thinking not this weekend, not next, but the one after that. I could drop her off on Friday? If so, do you think I will have it back on Sunday? Where are you located? I could meet almost anywhere in the chesterfield, mt clemmons, port huron area, thanks again.

Charlie,

That weekend I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. If you get it to me on Friday I might be able to have it done Sunday. I live in Farmington Hills.

Let me know,

Ok Scott, I will see what I can do. I am replacing my slip yoke this week some time, and I will see what that does for my proble. I have a MEAN vibration in the dreaded 2-3 shift. I will keep you updated, thanks again!
