Where is THE BEST body shop in SE MI?

I wrecked the SS last night, where is the best place to go? Lots of suspension work, some body, and motor. I am having it quoted at the dealer to get top notch pricing.
thanks

There is a lot to be determined if you want the "best" but I can send you to someone who will make sure its right. They guarantee 100% satisfaction, if its not right bring it back.

Hey Steve,
I'm from SLP too. i have the 98 black W68 firebird, anyways, I just hit a raccoon in my firebird a few weeks ago. It damaged my front end pretty good.
I dont know if you know that danee just opened a shop called "Generations" on the corner of Groesbeck and 10 Mile. They do everything you cant think of that is related to cars. He's doing all the repairs on my bird for me, and if you know danee, you know he doesent do half-assed work. (just look at his Camaro). His new shop is unbelievable, I was in awe when he gave me a tour of it, its just amazing.
I just got off the phone with him he explained exactley in detail what they are doing to my car, i also told him about your car. He wants you to call him and said that there is no problem if they have to deal with your insurance company. you can contact him at: 586 405 8735.
let us know what you decide to do. Good Luck!!!!

Sean

there is a place out in troy that does really good work but your going to pay. i'm sure danee has some good guys there as well; if he has jimmy painting for him you'll definately have one of the best up there. i wouldn't be surprised if it costs you though but you get what you pay for.

A&M collision in Farmington does some really good work. When I needed some work done on the bird they got the amout that was neccessary out of the insurance company instead of trying to fix the car for the amount that was first quoted (low balled by 1/2!!).

Everyone claims to be the "best" and everyone who's had their car done somewhere that actually got it back 100% satisfied are gonna refer you to who they went to. The best thing to do is find a reputable shop and get to know them. Look at their scrapbooks and see their work firsthand. Hang around their shop for a few hours and see if any customers come in complaining. This is the best I can think of to come up with something decent.
