I think it would look just like the bank end of those 2nd gen Esprits.

How much weight would it save ya?

But that would tie in with the whole "Rainbow Pride" theme he has going though wouldn't it?

You definitely wouldn't be the first. Over on ls1tech.com a few guys have done it.
As I recall, they picked up a MPH or two in the 1/4.

It sorta made it look like the rear-end of a 2nd gen Ford Probe.

Ahhh yes, the car Ford built for the woman in you. Seems to fit the theme

If it's a 4th gen., it'd look like a Sunfire with a fat ***.

Arrow Well I'd try it, but...

It adds like 300 tons of down force on the big end to keep the Hoosiers hooked, to prevent tire spin at 1000+ feet.

Carbon Fiber replica is the only way to go, Kevin. Along with wind tunnel time to minimize drag.

In other words...Keep it. It would be like...wrong to remove it.

Higher MPH=lower ET

Not always man... I beat that supercharged vette at the nats. he trapped 125+mph and I only trapped 117.

ET depends on traction, shifts, suspension setup, driver error, etc.
MPH just says how fast your car came through the big end.

Have you seen the GN guys that sit at the line and spool the turbo even after the light is green? 5 second reaction times don't win races, even if they are going going 8.85 at 154mph

But the same car, with the same traction but with a higher mph because of reduced drag should et faster

Shut yer hole

nope, you're still too narrow minded on it there's a lot more to it...we could ET the same and him go a lot faster due to turbo lag, gearing, etc. All I am saying is higher MPH does NOT automatically assume lower ET.

There's a guy on the michigan speed board that has a DSM with 503hp and only 370 or so tq. and runs 10s. Think his MPH would be the same as a N/A car running 10s?
