You definitely wouldn't be the first. Over on ls1tech.com a few guys have done it.
As I recall, they picked up a MPH or two in the 1/4.
It sorta made it look like the rear-end of a 2nd gen Ford Probe.

Well I'd try it, but...
It adds like 300 tons of down force on the big end to keep the Hoosiers hooked, to prevent tire spin at 1000+ feet.

Not always man... I beat that supercharged vette at the nats. he trapped 125+mph and I only trapped 117.
ET depends on traction, shifts, suspension setup, driver error, etc.

There's a guy on the michigan speed board that has a DSM with 503hp and only 370 or so tq. and runs 10s. Think his MPH would be the same as a N/A car running 10s?
