What trans to go with

Hey, just want to do a pole.
Witch trans would you suggest?
4L80E/Quadzilla OR TH400 Terminator.
Cost is huge difference. Overdrive is very nice though.
My 427 4L60E.TOO MUCH HP
You can find these transmissions at WWW.transmissioncenter.net/4L80Ehtm
Thanks

If you are making serious power, than I would go with the 400T with gear vendors OD.

I ended up going with the FLP 4L60E, just because I didn't want to loose the OD, and didn't have the $ for the above. It's too early to let you know how it is gonna hold up. So far its down to a 10.6.

Give this guy a call. He builds race transmissions for a living. He can tell you what is the best way to go. His name is Richard Bewick 248 828/7048. He built a trans for me and I can't say enough good things about him. That is what he does for a living . He does alot of GN transmission.

You should think about a TH200/4R. Turbo Buick guys run those below the 10s if I'm not mistaken. And there isn't such an enormous rpm drop between 1 & 2 like in a 700R4.
