You should try the LT1 tech section....

Assuming the tune is decent and you can drive fairly well, it should get you into the 12's I would think.

You say 12's would be fast enough now......... Then you touch the 12's and you want the mid 12's, then low 12's, then just to touch 11's.

Speed Never Stops Calling You Back!

Good luck and let us know how you do.

Not much...RPS clutch, no front sway bar, no cats (SLP 2OTL catback). My car was pretty light though, no TTops, crank windows...and it was about 50 degrees out.

my guess, if that 13.6 was in 90 deg heat, maybe 13.2 in same temps. whta kind of 60foot were you running? thats the key. if you can get down into the 1.8's, then MAYBE 12.9. thats just my guess. Im also ASSuming your prolly in the 2.1 60 foot range now? also Im not so sure the true duals will yield you anything with stock heads/intake over say a decent 3" ypipe and 3" catback. it will sound wicked, and if you have plans to upgrade the heads/intake later, then it would only make since to buy the right exh. now. I do love true duals, but depends on how often you want to drive the car, and your own personal tolerance for a loud vehicle. also realize the louder your car is, the more attention your goin to get from the wrong people. whatever, just post up your results man.

6 speed cars always seem to have better mph but worse 60' times than an auto car. You can get better 60' times with sticky tires, but a 4 grand rpm clutch dump could easily waste the stock 10 bolt rear end. Many stick owners would rather have some tire spin than take out the rear end. You will have a good running LT1 if you can get into the 12s in this heat. Good luck.

I went 12.40's with a cc306, LT's and 4:10's with DR's.

That was an LT4 car though. Other then the tuning that was pretty much it. By the way I can attest to that 12 second time slip of clokwrk's, I bought the car off of him. It was a pretty quick car for what was done to it. I surprised a few people with it.

Ya probably, I wish I still had either one of the cars. The 13 second GTP doesn't really cut it. Unless of course you need room for 3 booster seats in the back, like I do.
