James:
"I have been painstakingly thinking since Sunday on what to call your third gen.If the 01 is Black Sunshine ( Actually Blacksunshine II) Then are you going to call the Third Gen "Black Mullet"????It's the best I could come up with. "

It is black, 88 IROC-Z. Not rusty, but not pretty. Could have potential, after a few years of driving as a beater.

The original owner does sport a mullet, funny you suggested that James. Didn't find any Ratt, Cinderella, or Poison tapes in the car, but did find Pantera, and it worked just fine. Also found a nice lock blade knife, (no blood on it , dont laugh, the guy lives in Flint.

So, we have BlackSunshine4, & Black Mullet. If you like those, let me know, or post some ideas..

I would have to go with Black Mullet. I do remember seeing a few guys running around with Mullets back then.
I got pulled over by the Roseville cops when my IROC was new and he said he though I stole the car because I had long hair. I had just put the first coats of wax on her and he said I didn't look clean enough to drive that nice a car. Just another example of Roseville finest.
Almost 16 years later I wish I had some hair.
I have a lot of stock parts for a 87 to 89 IROC with TPI. Cams, injectors, gears, converters, polished wheels, tires, exhaust manifold and on and on if you need something to get The Black Mullet running. Just post what you need and I will see if I have it.

He said "TurdGen"....LOL

You werent $hit back in 88 if you didn't have a mullet when driving a IROC.

I had a mullet & didn't even know it was a mullet, how sad is that? At my age now, I'm just happy to have hair

Who wants to see the pic of my mullet? NOT.

Looke like a good one James, Black Mullet is winning out. We'll have to let this one float for awhile, to get the majority vote.

Wink

Harold there was a guy that I got my 4th gen seats from that had a new tank for sale. He was parting out a 86 IROC. His # was 586 731/3300. He was in Shelby TWP. His board name was Valu8or1.

Chris I know a couple of Berger SS Camaros with 380 H.P. stickers on the hood that didn't like my turd gen killing them.

When I hear "Mullet" the first thought that comes to mind is Joe Dirt (Deartay). What a way to grow up! LOL!!!!! How about "Black Deartay"? Just an idea.

Unhappy

As I am rolling home in the Mustang from work today I past a beautiful 3rd gen.It was a 91-92 Z28 Convertible.Red with red leather. It was absolutely gorgeous. It was'nt as nice as mine but it made me homesick.I like the way the Fox body Mustangs look,But set a 3rd gen and a Fox side by side and the 3rd gen just blows them away.God I miss my Camaro.

BTW I am still voting for Black Mullet
