well, if you seen my post about needing a car towed the other day it was because my regal died..

$240.00 and missing a day at work later i got it back...

well i get the ****ing thing back and its making a high pitched whistle that it wasnt before.. and kind of a grinding noise.. well we were hoping it was the tensionor pulley goin bad..

well the guy called today and said the blower is making the noise.....

So i have to buy an Eaton M-90 blower for the car now

Do people upgrade their blowers on these cars or just swap out pulleys? Maybe you can get a used one cheap. Have you tried Schram Auto?

Too bad you weren't broke. It might be a good opportunity for an upgrade.

There is a place in Cali that rebuilds them Dave. It is cheaper than buying a new one. If you want let me know and I will get you the #.

Dave, two things that might help. I have a used one for 300.00 bucks, and a phone number to our rebuilder 800-381-5181 ask for Helgi. Hopefully one of them will help you.

Can you adjust it to run fat and lean? I'd like to to run lean for normal driving to get more HP, but when I get some N20 installed, I'd like to fatten it up a bit. Can this do that? Or will it have to be something I do by hand?
