Weight of a 4thgen Ls1?

Weight of a 4thgen Ls1?
Larry and I were looking at a print out of his car specs and it says the gross weight is 4,200lbs which I thought was way high and when I looked it up on cars.com is said 3,417lbs and that was full tank of gas and all fluids. Thats a big difference. Which one is it?

The gross weight is the total of the car full of fluids and 4 passengers.
The SS M6 (leather & Ts) weighs 3380 with 1/4 tank of fuel.
The Formula A4 (cloth & HDT) weighed 3400 with 1/4 tank of fuel.
