Never had a problem about the DS loop, even when I was running high 12s (which I am hoping for again tomorrow)

Last time they did check my helmet for a snell rating (which it didn't have) and said I might want to get another helmet soon

A lot of what they tell you depends on what you tell them. When they ask you what you will be running, tell them low 14s and they won't even ask about your helmet.

After that you can get your runs in usually without much problem

If you don't have slicks or cheaters you don't need a loop.

P.S. I might not be coming.

Depends upon the track or event now
Some tracks have decided that regardless of IHRA/NHRA rules that any car in the 13s or quicker needs a loop. I'm running into that more and more.

Well, I'll have my loop tomorrow... not in time for T&T tonight though...

I'm finding I REALLY need a new DS though... 3.73 gears sure make this one buzz at around 3k RPM and higher...

I don't think they will since you are still on street tires, but if you were running slicks I think they will. It is a good investment though.

You guys think the weather will hold off until after the racing tonight? If anyone wants a tape of the night, bring a VHS tape with you.
