Cool This Thursday August 22nd - Dragstrip rented!

Welp just a reminder that this coming Thursday we have the dragstrip rented at Milan. Gates open at 6:30pm and we start running from 7-10pm. Cost per car running is $30 or less depending on the turnout. ALL makes and model cars welcome. All spectators are free.

Last time we were out there there was no lines waiting to run, so you can get in a whole lot of runs for test and tune or to just get some times on your cars. Hope to see you all there!

Sponsored by the Eastern Michigan Camaro clubs drag racing division.

I'm bringing a bunch of spectators with me, they get in FREE, right???

Unhappy

Well, I just finished fixing my front cover oil leak in anticipation of the Test and Tune set for tomorrow at Milan, so I take the Z for a test drive and the weatherman on the radio says there is a 70% chance of rain tomorrow

Its suppose to rain until 6:30 tonight and then stop for a few hours but who knows... I am going to be there if it looks like no rain and I had first dibs on Chris, 85iroc, I drove in that car last week and it was bad *** and totally out of tune then, we will see what he can do tonight. His LT1 Z28 is sweet and I would love to see that at the track as well but his wife won't let him drive it. Hey Chris I offer you a challenge, I'll bet you dinner on my girl Mandi racing in my Z against Kelly in either of your Camaros. call me if you accept the challenge, I better get Mandi practicing on how to shift my 6 speed but I am confident in her (her meaning the girlfriend and my car).

It doesn't look good for tonight. Its raining now and its supposed to rain right through the night. I guess I'll make my final decision around 5pm (thats when I need to leave to make it by 7)I hate to ask but is there a second postponement date??

I am going to cry...Well not really. First my car overheat last night while spewing coolant about the street. AND then the S.E.S. light came on for I have NO idea why. AND NOW it looks like rain.... I am NEVER going to get to run the car.

Angry

Rain seems to be in a holding pattern, overcast wont hurt me.

What will hurt me though is if I don't get my trailer over here in time to get my car. Grrrr....
