Thumbs up Way new PB at Stanton tonight

Well the air was just plain awesome tonight
45° 30.30 baro 55% humidity
Pulled in and put the ETs on and made 2 runs with the car just as it was the last time out. The second run was all new bests every number!! 12.237 @ 110.59
I was here to try some new programming so I dumped the current set-up and proceded to load the new stuff.
The first run was a disappointing 12.42 @ 109.38 but I usually go 4 passes at a time. So round and round I went. 12.253 @ 110.98 that's better. But it's short shifting the 1-2 and touching the limiter on the 2-3. 12.162 @ 111.38 All new best numbers again. 4th pass12.206 @ 111.22 hit that rev limit again.
Well back to the pits to try to correct the shift points.
Back out again for 4 more 12.275 @110.41, always a soft run after reprogramming. 12.197 @111.22 1-2 feels right now but the 2-3 is still to high Then the capper 12.151 @ 111.30 on a 1.648 60' and 7.717 @ 88.26 in the 1/8
My buddy Tom wanted to make a run because he's been having trans problems all year and wanted to see what the Yank and TransGo combo felt like. So I let him take the 4th pass. 12.148 @ 111.66 hit the rev limit again.
But................,there's always a but, the car set a SES light 3 miles from home. Now I need to find out what's up with that
All in all I'm one happy camper

Do you know time it is young man? hahaha

Looks like you'll need 30-35 degree weather to get that 11.98 pass huh?

The car is crazy as it was...and it just runs even freakier with colder and colder air!!! Keep it up!

Yes, it's break time. 3:00am is lunch (nap) time and 7:00am is time to go home and hit the bed

Heck I don't need no 11.98. An 11.999 will do just fine
I love my car

Air was real good, the track was a bit cold as I was getting my worst 60's of the year (Red 01 Formula). Too many street tired cars and "monster" trucks dragging water up, too.

What was your car # as I might have you on tape if you ran me as my buddy taped me with my digital camcorder? There was at least one run against a green Formula but it might have been the LT1-one that was out there. Email me directly if I did run you.

RUQWIKR,
Yeah it was my buddy Tom that you ran. 12.70ish at 109mph.
What kind of tires do you have? I roasted the ET streets every pass and my worst 60' was a 1.68

28x10.5 ET Drags on 15x10 Weld ProStars ran at 14 psic with M/T 27.5 front runners on 15x3.5's ran at 40 psic. I was having to leave "easy" and only hooked good once...the first run that I banged the limiter badly on the shifts (10.969). For the street, I use radial skinnies and DR's, but this winter, will be moving up to 325/50/15 DR's. Take care. Dave
