Watch Out World, My Car Is Going On The Dyno

I figured the car has been done long enough that I should get it on the dyno. So, on July 9th, I will get some numbers from Stenod's Mustang dyno. I know a couple people that have had cars on their dyno, So, I figured it would be a good choice for comparison purposes.

Okay Chris (Quicksilver) we will now be able to compare dyno sheets. Since our setups are pretty close, I hope we are in the same ballpark.

1) I wonder how much difference the converters will make? You have a 3,400, right? I am running a loose 4,000.

2) You have the true duals and I am running the long tube Y-pipe and open plate Borla muffler.

3) Both tuned by Dr. Phil.

4) Both running Fast intakes, mine is the 92mm Ported W/92mm PTM TB, yours the 102 LSX unported W/Fast 92mm TB, right?

5) We are both running 230 sized cams on 112s.

I am going to cheat and put a couple stickers on my car just before I dyno. That should give me an edge

This should be interesting

Shot an email to him... I will try again this week.

Dammm, I was planning on dropping off my car to you this Friday, guess not, LOL. I will get it in within the next week or two. I have to get something done. It is baking me in the car.

How about next Friday in the afternoon after the dyno?

I'll call you.

I have the dyno at 10:30am on Friday 7/9. I'll call you next Thursday and check in. I will leave my house about 9am to get out there on time and have some cool down time.

How have things been going?

Sorry Bill. I don't get on here all that much anymore. We already know the horsepower numbers now so we'll have to see how well our cars do at the track. Can't wait til the 13th.

Me and Bill both had our cars done on the same dyno. Mine put down 421 and his put down 405, but there was some kind of an issue with his torque converter so not sure how accurate his number really is. Should probably be higher.

bills car was unlocked numbers due to the high stall conv. not holding the lock apply, 4000 stall that actually stalls higher. Chris' was locked and he has a 3000 stall. thats the biggest diff. in the cars.
Chris, I gotta see bout those tires. the only part thats holding me back is one, Im not goin to be there, and 2, your goin to get like 10+ runs. thats alot of tire life with all those burnouts and stuff. hmmm....
