Making a trip out to the west side this weekend to build the bottom end for the stroker. I was thinking about hittin the strip friday, any one gonna be running?

 

I know a bunch of us will be at a car show at Craigs Cruisers on Friday night. Its at the 54th street exit off of US131 and it goes from 6 until 9 if you wanna stup by.

 

i thought craigs cruisers was on 64th street?
Meh, if i get the grand prix running i might stop by.
Its not a show-able car. hell, its not even running right now.

 

Actually I think it's kinda in between. Just closer to 54th. Depending on how work goes I might be at the show. Doubt I'll show off the Z much though. Nobody wants to check out a car with a speedo that's off.

 

after looking over the GP, i've noticed it needs electrical work.... badly.

someone just started rigging wires up.
my battery wire was in 2 peices duct taped together.
i'm lucky it made it home without starting on fire.

 

I'll be racing The Nova on Saturday. A race from July was rained out, and I'm still in it.

Saturdays are alot more fun anyway, IMO. On a Wednesday or Friday, I get about 4 runs, and the track isn't prepped the best. On a Saturday, the track is great, and I get 3 timed runs and at least one actual bracket race.
