I have the b&m plate and it wokr great I guarantee there is no way you can beat a trans as hard as I do. The one thing to remember is change the fluid often if you run a high stall converter, once a year minimum.

I have had a B&M Supercooler (28,000 GVW) for 3 years now and I love it. 116,000 miles on the tranny and still going strong.

The big advantage of the stacked plate B&M coolers is that when the oil is cold it bypasses the cooler. When it warms up then it starts to go through. And yes there is a too cold for tranny fluid.
