Post trans-go???

I had my shift kit installed last weekend. I had the guy put it on the 2nd setting and it barely feels like its shifting harder than stock. I also had a Yank 2600 stall put in too. Would that effect the firmness of the shifts. I would not think so since its such a low stall. I'm just a little dissapoited with the shifts. Does anyone else have their shift kit on the 2nd setting? How does it feel?

It's because of the convertor, I had the same thing happen, I had that installed when I put in the Vig 3200, and I can barely tell it's there, it doesn't bark.. But then again, maybe that's why my tranny & rear lasted as long as it did. No real performance gain from it anyway, just cool to have. So if it's not enough, take it back & have it bumped up. Good luck.

It is definitly because of the converter. With my ST3200 my shifts were fairly slopy, and still slopy after the LS1 edit increase in shift firmness that was done at APE. Don't worry, it won't make you lose any time at the track if you don't bark second.

I thought it might be the converter but because it is such a low stall I thought it wouldn't effect it that bad. Oh well I guess I'll just have to bump it up.
