Unhappy Tranny takes a dump

Well it finally happened.

But not while racing or pounding on it.

It looks like I bent the 3-4 shift fork. I am actually lucky, I was told that that is a weak spot in these trannies and usually when the fork goes, it breaks and grenades the whole transmission.

So out it comes and time for a rebuild. Some new synchros, viper shift fork and maybe a bit of chryo, should do it.

Oh well, as long as it's ready for M7.

See you at the track.

Sorry to hear that, but we'll be pulling for the show at M7.

I hope to see that monster at M7 too. You were the guy with 960 RWTQ right?

Hope to see you there! Best wishes on the rebuild.

Thanks, guys.

The tranny is coming out today. Hopefully I'll have it running by mid next week. So M7 shouldn't be a problem.

RedIrocZ-28, actually I pulled 949 rwtq on the ARE dyno. I've never run with that much juice, I almost **** myself when I seen the car react to it.

So anyone going racing anytime soon?
