I just had LASIK on wed, and the doctor said that the outer layer of my eyes (epi-somthing or other) is soft, and will be slow healing.

Normaly people end up with 20/20 or close to it the day after, but I still have very poor vision. Light sensitivity is going away though...

He says it will heal, but it will take time.


Has anyone ever had this happen, and if so how long did it take for you to be able to see?

I cant work or drive, and my glasses are obviously useless. Plus i have to renew my licence in a few days, I cant see to take a vision test and reading ability comes and goes...
If anyone has an experience with this and can give me some insight to how long I might be like this I would appreciate it.
