Thumbs down Track canceled!!! READ!

Track has been canceled. Chris Baxter that is director of the track said it rained around 2pm and that track conditions are unsafe to run. It has been re-shedualed for Tuesday the 27th of August. Sorry guys, I just found out myself.

Yes, same time. I feel bad because I know there is people that I couldn't get ahold of to tell it was canceled. ugh. Tuesdays supposed to be clear skies. I didn't find out it was cancled until around 5pm myself. I had already loaded my car into the trailor and everything.

This Tuesday though the 27th, gates open at 6:30pm, we start running at 7pm thru 10pm.

I'll keep any updates posted thru here.

I was one of those people that had to leave at 4:00 to meet my dad up in work at Troy at 4:30 so I could follow him there. We were at the track at 5:30 (go figure we thought we'd hit traffic getting there but we wound up getting awesome time). A few people showed up and we waited til 6:30 and then got a pizza and came back just to see if anyone was up there to talk to since we didn't wanna have to go fight rush hour on the way back. We talked to "97 6SPEED Z" but his real name slips my mind. Ahh well...I did take a picture right at 6:30 to show how beautiful it was DOH! The skies were even better at 7:30 when we left. Now I hope I can talk my dad into coming Tuesday, cuz I know I wanna go!!!

The pic is at
www.fbody.com/members/ltlhomer/rainoutpic.jpg
I hyperlinked it but it wouldn't work so just copy/paste the addy and you'll see the pic of my car and the blue skies in the backround.

I will probably be there Tuesday, also.

Nick - It coulda been a nice little grudge match but you had to go and install headers and a torque converter! Did you get gears, too? Now I'll never catch up! At least not without the 12 bolt I can't afford.

Then again, I could always spray it with a 150 shot!

Cool

Guys ltlhomer was absolutely right! We were both sitting right outside the LOCKED gates of Milan Dragway last night around 7:00PM and the skies out there were blue, and the sun was shinning It would have been a GREAT night for racing. Oh well, maybe next time

P.S. ltlhomer it was great talking to both you and your dad last night, don't know if I can make it on Tuesday but have fun anyway. You have a very nice car

Thanks...hope you can make it up so you can get that 12 second slip under your belt. I'm pretty sure I'm going as long as my dad's meeting at the Tech center doesn't run long.
