Too rich and then now too lean

I loaded the stock program back in there and now it's backfiring a lot and seems to be running lean while before it was fouling plugs like crazy. The idle is definitly too low but I can fix that myself. Does anyone have any basic tunercat programming skills that might be willing to help me get this thing running long enough to drive it to the exhaust shop and back? If anyone can do this, give me a call at 586 294 2321 or email me at LTLHOMER@aol.com Thanks guys, Sean

Sean,

You need to start with putting thre programing in the car the guy supplied you with. Then you need to pick up the FPR that I ordered you and adjust that first.

Well for part of my grad gift my parents said they'd pay for dynotuning so now that it's free I'm prolly going to go that route. Speedworks said the computer would cut injector pulse widths or something fancy like that and negate any gains from the adj. fpr. I just want something that'll get me to Doug's and get me to speedworks cuz towing it will be very expensive.

lthomer, a temporary "bandaid" would be to adjust your injector rate to trick the pcm into believing its giving a certain amount of fuel when its not. PCM4Less will do this in their tunes as well. If you are running too lean you will want to lower your injector rate to make the pcm try to open the injector more to give it a certain amount of fuel, in return giving it more fuel.
