I need it for a week or so (2 weeks at the absolute most) so I can throw in the 3000 stall unless someone knows a way to do this without the use of a tranny jack. Thanks guys...

 

well i haven't done an A4 but we've always just put the whole car in the air, with the rear slightly higher if possible. this way when the motor tilt down after removing the trans mount it levels out.

then throw a peice of wood(8x10x1/2 or so) under your car jack as just under the trans pan. should have two people pulling it out in case of tipage.
