Third gen 350 tpi question

OK Im pretty much done and ready to start my new engine after I check on a few loose ends.

I have one hose that is not hooked up. Is there a hose off of the charcole canister that is not hooked to anything??? It has a bracket at the end of it like it is just suposed to hang....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also WHat is a good hot (with the ign on, not off) wire to tap into for my relay that goes to my E water pump.

There is a fuse that is on a bracket that is attatched to the front rad support near the top of the batteries neg side. What is that to????? THe wiring diagrams in my haymes manual sux.

All the of the canister lines should be hooked up. There is no free lines. I have my canister disconected. When they are old the diaphram rupters and the charcole gets sucked into the engine.
You can tie into the power for the cooling fanpower. I would do it before the relay so that runs all the time. That way you are not taking power from something that runs all the time.

Good call on the power source! Ill look for the power lead today. The canister bothers me. It has electrical hoked to it, and I dont want a check engine light on. Plus I think the canister is ok. I would like to find where it hooks up. Ill check more on this in the books. Well Hopefully this will be running next week.

When I removed my lines I did not get a check engine light.
