Is There Anyone Around Here To Swap Pcm's With To See If Mine Is Fried?? 94z M6
I believe mine is fried and i need to see if anyone around here has a 94z m6 that could possibly meet up with me and swap pcm's out real quick to see if thats what the problem is, please help if you can, not sure what the hell is wrong with my car leading me to believe my pcm is bad, had car scanned again, code comming up saying that left 02 sensor is reading lean, car runs bad and misses, read outs on sensors are in the 15's-20's on one side (left side) and in the 900's on the other side...obviously something going on....changed both 02 sensors and it still runs like crap, unplugged battery and reset the codes and even after that the pcm will not clear codes out??? Please help if you know something or can swap PCM's with me, thanks

well if you want to come by I can plug mine in and read the sensors to see if it made a diff. are you sure you dont have an exh. leak, or a vacuum leak on that side? or that the 02 harness isnt melted/corroded/rubbed through somewhere shorting out the wires? thats far more likely to have happened then the pcm being bad. good luck. and email me if youd like to try this. or call my cell so I can bring home my scan tool if you want to do this tomorrow.
and on another note, you shouldnt be driving the car really w/it like that. its probably running really rich and you could wash out a cyl. wall or foul out plugs and stuff. plus, you need to see where the fuel trim counts are. is the comp. trying to add fuel, or take away fuel? it could be either. that would also provide a clue as to what could be causing it to be way off like that.
