should have said something a couple days ago. the trey mobile had a perfect windshield. But it got hauled out yesterday. Sad thing is the guys who picked it up are building a pro car, sothey will yank the windshield with probably a large, heavy, wooden-handled removal tool

Call Low-Price Glass in Madison Heights. They shouldn't charge more than $150 to come out and put one in.

Not if you know what you're doing. My dad and I removed a few from '80/'81 Camaros (front and back) without breaking them. Just be patient and gentle with them.

Sorry Rodrigues, I don't have a 4th-gen windshield for ya, unless you're willing to drive to Ontario and give me about ~$500 to take mine!

Ignore that post above, that seems as though it was from me. It was my roommate. He's not so smart and his car is broken

4th gen windshields are way tougher. This was told to me by multiple glass replacement companys. I was going to have mine removed and reinstalled to do some paint work and NO ONE would gurantee that it would come out in one piece.

New windshields for 4th gen's average in the $500+ price range. I got a used one in perfect condition with the rearview mirror still attached for $50 bucks. Keep your eyes peeled, one will come around. FYI my body shop quoted me at $550 bucks for a replacement, and that's without the install kit. I know they sometimes are considered higher than other places when buying replacement parts, but a lot of the stuff I had them buy brand new was much cheaper than I could even find it used on this site, so I have no other reference to go by on my price quote.

Rodrigues, I just removed mine and it's not broken. I installed a lexan replacement. Anyway, it's sitting in a garage in Brighton. No damage to it, and only 2 stickers to remove that I had on it for racing. It's from a '94 Firebird. I'd ask $100 for it.
