I had a good time while I was there. Trust me, no one is more disappointed than me at this point. I didn't even get to make a single run before I had to leave to get back to work. So much for preregistering to save the $5, I paid $30 to walk around for a few hours

Oh how I wish I could have shown some of you V8 boys that a 4 banger can go 11's.

I had a blast. too bad I had to leave before the end of the brackets, and never got to make a full qtr. mi. pass. I cant wait for spring to see how far into the 11's the N20 will take me. I believe my 1/8 times translated into 12.5's (as expected) and my N20 pass's into 11.5's or 11.6's. I'll have to find a calculator online.

thanks for the event though. what a great track. and a great event. cant wait to hear the final tally of participants. it looked more like 200.

so aside from forgeting my helmet(s) I had an awesome experience.

and, thanks for working hard to clear off/dry the track. the gods have shined on another Mevent!

I to would like to say thank you for a great event. Even though a dying opti keep me from racing as my first M event I will be back next year to race. And I can't complain I did win a bmr drive shaft loop in the raffle.

What does the guy making a NHRA runs have motor wise?

And also what is the guy with the 86 TA that won the quick 16 have?

ARE 382 Cubic Inch Solid Roller LS1, LS1 heads, LS6 block, Turbo 400, Neal Chance 4000 stall converter, 12 bolt with a spool and 3.73's, NX direct port with a 200 shot. It's a pump gas motor compression wise, so I drive it on the street quite a bit and at the track I run it on race gas.

Not enough. Just kidding, congrats on the runs!

I ripped my runs and Harlan's to video. You can see them here: License Passes

I hope everyone had a safe trip home and enjoyed the festivities. Huge thanks the the CZ28 staff for putting together another great M-event!

you left to early:

Durring a full pass durring T&T i pushed a rod out of my oil pan... "sorry for the oil down guys" but dont worry everything is ok just some leaking oil and carnage.
just another reason to build it biger and badder!
SO next season will be another record breaking year, i broke into the 9's this year next year who knows..
any ideas? 427? billet rods? pro fogger? change firing order?
The sky's the limit and if everything goes ok this winter thats all i'll be seeing is the sky.

p.s. did everyone love the NOS purge???

I got online JUST to be able to tell you THANKS FOR THE SHOW! From the starting line, it looked like a bomb went off at the top end of the track: White smoke that completely obscured the track for what seemed like thirty seconds. We couldnt see you until you got to the runoff area. That's when Jeff Ledford announced that you made it out of the cloud okay. Good luck on the new engine planning!

I also wanted to say congratulations to Matt Cybalski for the great final elimination round. Good racing from that third-gen...

Chris, I've been bragging that my 700R4 is finally working well enough to turn 11's! Each time, the person retorted "Yeah? In whose car??" :jealous:

Glad to have spent the day with you all!

Thanks guys! Two awesome cz28.com events this year and I can't wait for the next one.

Next time I will be sporting a th400 so you guys won't have to suffer hearing me drill the rev limiter over and over with the slip and slide 4l60e that was supposedly "built" by a particular tranny shop that I will conveniently forget the name of.

Anyways thanks a million guys!

and hink...wtf? j/k man

Thanks to all for a great time! It was a white knuckle ride there AND home again, but well worth it! I got a new PB of 12.24 @ almost 116! I know I have a 12.0 or possibly a 11.9xx in her. I wasn't used to a sticky track and launched WAY to soft...BOG! It was good meeting you guys!

THANK YOU JASON

my first time ever to drag race. it was awesome even though my car wasn't setup properly. unbelievable how sticky the track is. the 28x10.5" ET DRAGS were too much traction for my stock motor and i bogged hard core. i never got a good quarter mile run, the only time i ran the quarter i heard something nasty underneath and let off after the 1/8 mile mark. car seems to be ok but i need to recheck my pinion and it's time to freshen up the trans.

see you all next year no doubt!

DERTY , loved watching you run, you put out some great runs, too bad taner wasn't there to give you a run! lol. as for the 86, damn, who'd of thunk it?!
