Yep. I use synthetic 10W-30 Mobil 1 in the SS.

 

Not sure if it matters or not but I use it.

Mobil 1 synthetic 10W-30

 

I use nothing but Redline in everything i run

 

Redline in the hotrod. 10w30 summer 5x30 winter.

Mobil 1 in the tow vehicle 10w30 summer and 5w30 winter.

I just switched to Mobil 1 10W30 for the RS, might try Red line next, don't think it matter at all really.

I still use standard Quaker State 5W30 in my Suburban, it's managed just over 300,000 miles and still doesn't burn much oil, runs awesome, and is as smooth running as anything new. I stick with what works.

 

I have used syn oil since 1979 and never had a problem.

In the 93Z switch back and forth. IN the 99Z with a aluminum block use syn oil 5w-30
