I am posting this for my brother. He will be trading his truck in soon or needs to sell it soon so that he can purchase a new Heavy Duty truck.
It's a 2003 Dodge 1500 shortbed standard cab 4X4, it has the SLT option with power windows, locks, cruise, compass/mileage thing, CD, tow package, etc. It has the 5.7 liter HEMI engine with the 5 speed automatic trans, 3.92 gears, Sport package and it is all black. The only aftermarket stuff includes a Rhino liner spray on bed liner, a flowmaster muffler and brand new Bfgoodrich all terrain A/T tires. The truck has 66,000 miles.
The only thing wrong with the truck is a small dent on the tailgate and the rear bumper is bent.
This is a nice sharp truck with plenty of power.
Kelly blue book value for private party is $15,395 the dealer is offering him $13,000 for trade in.
He will sell it for $13,500 or it will be traded in a week.

 

Apparently the appraisal guy gave a lower price than the salesman said so my brother will sell this truck for the best offer over $12,000.
If I had the money I'd buy the truck for this price but I just thought I'd offer it up to anyone before the dealer gets a good deal.
Kelly Blue book lists the trade in at $12,600, so for $12,000 you can get a great deal.
