Yep things will still work.

Let me know what weekend, starting on a Friday is better, and you can leave the car overnight if you need to.

Next weekend will be fine, have the air compressor and air wrench, if you need an impact you'll need to borrow one, don't have one yet.

The torque converter is easy. I had mine done in about 4-5 hours total time with me doing 90% of the work alone. Not sure about the headers. I've never installed them on an LS1.

Headers are easy. Both slide up from the bottom easily. You don't even have to jack up the engine. Remove the part obove the oil filter and disconnect steering shaft on drivers side. Remove oil dipstick tube on passenger side. Also, it is easiest if you take out the spark plugs. The crappiest part is routing the O2 extensions. My drivers side extension actually goes forward over the top of the k-member and around underneath it back to the sensor. Too damn long in my opinion. If you are gonna change your plugs and wires any time soon, now is the time to do it while everything is off and out of the way. Good luck. Give me a call if you need any more help. 734-564-5915.
