Arrow For Sale locally - Optima Deep Cycle battery - New, still factory sealed.

I don't want to go through the expense of shipping this thing around, so I am gonna try selling it locally first.

It is an Optima Deep Cycle (Yellow top) battery, model #D34/78 (formerly known as #D750U). I bought it from http://www.absbattery.com/ over a year ago for my '96 Camaro and I never used it. It is still wrapped in the factory plastic, still in the original box. I heard they were awesome batteries, so I ordered one, received it, opened the box, took a look at it, said "Wow! Neat!" and then closed the box up again. After that it was never touched. I recently sold the '96 and no longer need it.

I don't know what else it will fit in, so that will be up to the buyer to check if they are putting it in something other than a '96 Camaro

If you want it, make me a reasonable offer for it via private e-mail.

Not true, it is just a heavy duty battery.

They retail for about $175. I am looking for reasonable offers.

The yellowtop is a great battery. I have one, bought it for the Trans Am. It's NOT getting used in the T/A at the moment though and I probably shouldnt tell you what it's currently being used in....

Yellowtops are a deep cycle battery but provide a tremendous amount of cranking power. They are totally sealed and wont vent unless you do something stupid like short it out or something...

Perfect for remote mount battery installations as they have a very low inline resistance.

It should. I ordered it originally for my '96 SS.

I just went out and measured it, the base is 6 1/2" wide x 9 1/2" long, and is 6 1/2" high. This is very close the the battery I have in my '02 SS, and I don't think they changed sizes over the years.

When I'm done with the roll cage on the T/A, I think I'll put my yellowtop into the back of my car.

It's currently being used at the power source for my tent camper, eh! It'll power the whole rig for about two days without recharging.

It retails for about $179.99

http://www.ramchargers.com/cgi-bin/n...442&cat2=26875

I'll take $125 for it as long as I can deliver it or someone can pick it up/meet me halfway. I don't want to ship it.

If I don't sell this soon, I will probably just keep it. So if you want it, let me know ASAP!

Unhappy

Still for sale! I need some cash!

I had to take the factory wrap off and put this in my car for a week or two (only drove it twice with this battery in it), so it is not exactly "brand new" but is in "brand new condition".

Works great, fits perfect (slight modification is required to the little plastic block that holds the battery down, if I get a new one buyer can have my modified one).

Look guys, I need to get rid of this. It is a killer battery but I have no need for it and I could use the cash.

Come and get it for $100. This is a screaming deal.
