Removing axles from 12 bolt??? Need help

Just wondering if anyone here knows how to remove axles out of a 12bolt strange rearend. We are trying to install longer studs for the new wheels we bought. We want to try and get this done asap. I was wondering if there was a website that showed you step-by-step- mike

Just guessing here, but I suspect you will find that the axle is retained by four bolts and an axle flange with bearing and O-ring underneath. Just unbolt the flange and give it a yank. That's how my Moser 12-bolt is set up.

Same on a Strange.
With a little creative grinding it can be done WITHOUT removing
the axles.

Yes, if you remove the abs sensor, you can punch the studs out the hole if you spin the axle to line up with the hole. I prefer to just pull the axle out. You could probably get ahold of Scott & have him do it for you in a few hrs. I forgot his screen name. Maybe someone will chime in.

I didn't need to remove the ABS sensor.
