Hey guys, haven't had time to monitor the board much lately, but just checked to see if anything was going on racing-wise this weekend. I can't make Friday (although I love Grand Bend), but I'd like to be there on Saturday at St. Thomas. I realistically can't get there until about noon, however. Based on my previous experience there, they don't really get racing until about 11am, so I won't miss much.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.

You're right, by the time they do tech and get everything organized its at least 10:30 so you won't miss much. I believe eiminations begin at 2:00 which still gives you plenty of time to figure out your dial-in.
I don't know if you are aware but the Toronto F-body Motorsports club is hosting their first drag event of the year there saturday so there should be at least 20 - 25 cars.
For 45 bucks canadian you can enter the brackets and have the chance to win a few hundred if you win the event.

Just a quick question for you guys. When you go to the track do you need to have anything special done to your car like roll cages for example? Are there certain requirements or anything like that or do you just show up and race?

I just heard a rumor on another board that the timing system is once again down at St Thomas. They told people there tonite that it wouldn't be fixed until after the weekend and offered they're money back.

Hope you guys don't have to use the old "hanky drop" again.
