Racing this weekend??????/

Well as the plan stands now. A group of us plan on going to Grand Bend this friday for some test and tune at an awesome track. Probably about 40-50 cars total. So that makes for some serious amounts of racing.

Then Saturday to St.Thomas for the toronto f-body event. That is a good time. A bunch of f-bodies hangin around having fun.

Now for the weather to co-operate for a while.

See you there.

Well, if my 4.10 gear install goes well on Friday?

.....except the gears would be getting their initial break-in driving 3 hours to St. Thomas!!! Oh, and I don't have slicks yet .

There will be more w/e's this summer.....I'm gonna make it out one of these times, I swear!

Don't worry about the tires, I'll have you covered there. As long as you promise to stay away from John Force comparable burnouts I have a set of 26 x 11.5 x 16 Et's for you. Maybe even a "big" slick depending on how Friday goes. Now get that thing to the track.

Kevin, we'll try to leave for about 4:00 pm on Friday.

Ahhh, look who woke up.

no prob

But I have 1/2" studs.

They take the regular wheel nuts, I have them mounted on the 16" SS wheels

Hey, I appreciate the offer . However, it looks like I won't be going to the track this w/e. Friday I'm having new street tires put on during the day, and right now my dad has the garage tied up with an '87 Corvette for a friend of ours, so I can't get my car in there to do the rear end until Saturday it seems. I am just itching to go though. And, since I'm as demented as I am, I'm installing 4.10's in my car (yes, with an A4!) so I can't wait to see how that's going to work out! I already tried 3.73's last year, and I think 4.10's will be better for 1/4 mile racing, AS LONG AS I can get "traction"! (hence, I need slicks!)

using incorrect nuts.

At $1.10 /L for gas you're a braver man than me to go 4:10's in an A4.

Meh , Sunoco 94 has only been hovering around ~$1.00/L near me, which makes it about ~$15 more per fill-up than when gas was ~$0.70/L, and with 4.10's I won't get much worse mileage than 2.73's anyways (believe me, even 3.73's weren't as bad on gas as I thought they would be ).....so we'll see how things go! I'm keeping my 2.73 diff around in case I really hate the 4.10's though.....YES, I'm retarded!

If you're looking for good 1/4 mile times, the 4.10 will get you there in a hurry. It'll kill your top end though.
