thinking about buying a 1994 v6 camaro 5speed for my daily driver. Always had a v8. Dont really care about the power. The car has 96k miles on it... Is that high mileage for that camaro. How much miles can you usally get out of a v6 fbody and is there any typically problems or defects with v6 fbodys. I know the v8 lt1 has the optispark problems... Just curious is theres a typically problem with the v6 since Im not fimilar with them...

 

how cheap is it? If you can, get one with a 3800. much better engine.

Last fall, a friend of mine bought a 96 or 97 firebird with the 3800 and only a few more miles (114K) for $1700. it does have a rust spot right behind the door, down low near the wheelwell. But other than that, is very clean.

maybe search around. Unless your stuck on getting a 5sp, which is very rare.
