Question about Conveter stall

Do you think a 3200 vigelante is too much for what I have done in my signature?? A guy was telling me I should go with their 2800 and that with my 3.73's a 3200 would be too big. Who thinks this is logical? I was under the impression "Bigger was better" lol.

Call them, tell them what you got. They will tell you what you need.

Some years of fbodys you can only go 2800 stall or the trans will not shift into 3rd gear at WOT. Make sure you talk to them to get the right stall speed so you don't have the shift problem. I think your year is one of them.

OBD1 4L60E's are the only transmissions with shift problems that I know of ('94 & '95, lucky me ). Since you have a '93, I'll assume you still have speed density and a 4L60 (no E) transmission. Should be no shift problems there. I'd go ahead and go with the 3200. Especially with the hot cam. Just plan on running some E/T streets because you probably won't hook on drag radials.

As others have suggested, as Precision Industries for their recommendation for your setup. I personally think you'd be happy with a 3200, though.
