Opportunity for Free Intake System and Dyno Run

My dad just patented a new air intake system and is looking for some more cars to test it on. It'll fit on any standard holley style carb. It reduces turbulance in the air going into your carb so it makes a very significant difference on supercharged cars. Added 45 hp to my dad's supercharged 440 over the ATI Big Block Hat that came with him supercharger kit. If you're interested, there's a spot on the site called "test vehicles" where you can mail in your information. You'll recieve a free air intake system and dyno run (no tuning). We're in the Detroit area. Can't guarantee you'll be picked, but it's worth a try. Please include some details on your car and possibly pics if you have them in the email. Good Luck!

99% of the cars here are all EFI cars. I have been wanting to do something with my air intake. I have a plan for a RAM AIR system. Just waiting for the weather to get warm enough. I will be looking for a hand installing a N20 system so might as well do the Ram Air at the same time. This is for the IROC. I plan on going high 11.8 or 9 come spring.

I am not all that familiar with camaro style EFI, but we were able to make this system work on my 95 GMC truck 350 TBI if that helps any. 11.8/9 is FAST. Where do you race at? I am into lifted trucks myself, but I have been working on planning a 4x4 day at the Lapeer dragway with my club. I know a guy who ran low 12's in a fullsize chevy pickup on 44" tires. Pretty amazing, huh?

Most of us here have boycotted Lapeer Dragway. Its a long story... but we'd still like to see your big tires sometime

IROC, I actually have my Ramcharger in Sterling Heights at 15 and mound right now stored in the shop and working on an axle swap, snorkel, and some other off-season mods. If you ever seen a bright blue 87 Ramcharger on 40" tires, that's me

91bird, if you have access to a digital cam or scanner, snap a couple pics of your throttle body and maybe take some measurements. if you mail them into gordon@superiorairflow.com he can probably let you know for sure. I would imagine that it would work, but I would hate to have you find out the hard way.

I can get some pictures to u eventually. For now this is all I have cause the car is 100 miles from me right now.

Its a stock throttle body that came on the LO3 engines. I modified its slightly but just bored out the throttle bores and some other little things.

It looks like a carb bonnet? You know, those things they've been making for a long time now but usually out of metal. What's so special about this thing other than it's plastic and the $100 higher price tag?

JPrevost, it's a similar concept, but has fins internally to direct the air flow and smooth it out. When tested against others we had significant power gains. Check out the dyno sheets to see the difference.
