original xbox that is. not the 360.

goin to finally buy a gaming system now that there cheap. found some for sale w/quite a few games but not sure which system is better and why? let me know what you know.

 

I still have my original x box with about 20 games that i really never played to begin with. Been trying to get rid of if for a while but no bites.

 

how much you looking for? just curious I saw a xbox with 14games guy said he'd take $80. course that was after I paid $100 for the ps2 (w/16games and surround sound/wireless controlers and more) tonight on my way home from work.

I bought my refurbished XBox 360 for $150 shipped off ebay and then bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for $40 used. If you're going to spend the money getting a game system, why not go with something current? If you get something like COD: MW2 you'll be hooked for hours.

 

well, cause I can get more for my buck. as 95ltslow has a very nice package with a ton of games for the same if I was to buy just a couple games and a new system. or new slightly used.

you guys must have both missed where I said I DID buy a ps2 with 16games and surround sound system and 2 wireless controllers for $100.

I would get the xbox and have it modded. There are people that can put a hard drive in the system with every game loaded on it.

Or just try to find one that's already loaded and buy that.

Original Xbox was awesome.

What seperated the xbox was it was basically a computer, like what all systems are today. It had a hard drive. The playstation 2 did not have a hard drive and if you notice there are memory cards just to save games, which you do not need with an xbox.

My little cousin had a 250gb hd put in his xbox and had like 300 games loaded on it.

 

Love my PS2 to the end. Wanted to shoot my xbox, and eventually I sold it to a sucker cause I hated it that much. PS2 has great games, its smaller, and never has any problems can play hours at a time.

My moneys on the PS2.....

 

Ps2 actually did have and harddrive for it but it was only for the big ps2 not the slim one and with the big ps2 and hard drive you could buy a magic Disk I think it was called for it and burn any game you rent straight to the harddrive or so i was told lol.

 

You know we have a **** load of PS2 games. Car work for games??? All Guitar Hero's, but can't let go of the Mighty Met!!!
